1. How do I sign-up?

  No, there is no start up fee to open an account with ICS Courier. Top
      
4. Do you service Residential Addresses and if so, what are the fees?   
  ICS will provide services to businesses operating from a Residential Address for a $50.00 per month minimum fee. This is a minimum charge - if shipments within any given month exceed $50.00, payment for that month would simply reflect the total costs of shipments. Top
      
5. I'm a business that is based at a residential address and do not want to pay the $50 fee - can I pick up/ drop off my mail at a local ICS Courier branch?   
  Yes, ICS provides a free of charge Mailbox Rental service at all of our branches Top
      
6. Is my material traceable?   
  With ICS Next DayTM, full trackable service is available for all your time sensitive shipments. Top
      
7. Who do I contact for service related issues?   
  ICS has 35 branches across the country, please consult the ICS Branches page for the nearest branch. For general service inquiries, please call our Customer Service department at  1-888-ICS-TRAX (or 1-888-427-8729). Top
      
8. Are there any fees for redirecting my mail due to address changes?   
  Yes. An administration fee of $60.00 will be issued. All of your mail will be re-directed to your new address for 90 days. Top
      
9. What are your delivery time frames?   
  We provide a next business-day delivery to most centres across Canada. Top
      
10. Is there a minimum daily pick-up charge?   
  Yes. The minimum daily charge is 3 x the current Canada Post rate for a 50 gram letter. Top
      
11. Is group billing available for companies with multiple offices?   
  Yes, group billing can be facilitated upon request - please consult Customer Service or your local ICS Courier Sales Representative. Top
      
12. How much is my package insured for under standard Terms & Conditions?   
  Standard insurance coverage is $4.41 per kg up to a maximum of $100, on hard goods only. Top
      
13. Can I obtain additional insurance for my valuable shipments?   
  Yes, ICS offers a very competitive additional insurance coverage on hard goods only - please refer to the Rates Section or contact our Customer Service Department for details. Top
      
14. How do I order waybills?   
  There are 3 methods for reordering your ICS waybills:
(1) ONLINE FORM Click on the customer service link and proceed to the Order ICS Supplies link. Fill out the electronic form.
(2) CALL OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT at 1-888-ICS-TRAX (427-8729)
(3) RE-ORDER FORM (PROVIDED IN WAYBILL BOOKLET) With some of ICS’ services, the waybill booklets come with standard re-order forms that can be given to your ICS driver for processing.

15. Do I have to fill out my own paperwork?   
  Yes, in order to ensure accuracy and timeliness for your deliveries, all paperwork must be filled out by the customer prior to pick-up. Please remember to include the consignee's full mailing address, including postal code and please ensure that weights are indicated in grams or kilograms only. Top
      
16. Do you provide a proof of delivery service?   
  Yes, our ICS Next DayTM service not only provides trackability for your important shipments, it also allows us to secure the consignee's signature as proof of delivery. Verbal confirmation of the consignee's signature can be obtained by calling Customer Service (hard copy fax confirmation is also available for a surcharge of $10.00). Top
      
17. What can or cannot go through the ICS system?   
  ICS does not handle hazardous goods or otherwise dangerous materials. We can deliver all forms of envelopes and packages - even irregular or oversized envelopes at no extra charge! Top
      
18. What safeguards can I employ to ensure my packages are not damaged during delivery?   
  ICS Courier handles all packages with extreme care and caution. However, it is incumbent upon the customer to ensure all packaging is sufficient enough to sustain the standard elements of transportation. Top
      
19. Is there a weight restriction on boxes?   
  Yes, industry standards dictate a maximum of 30kg per individual package. Top
      
20. Can I send materials to P.O. Boxes, Rural Routes or Apartments?   
  No, ICS does not deliver material to these areas. P.O Boxes and Rural Routes (RR) are designed for the exclusive use of Canada Post and thus are not considered specific delivery points for a courier company. Top
      
21. How does ICS handle undeliverable or non-industry material?   
  If correctly addressed and consigned to a business that falls within the industries that ICS services, all material should be delivered. However, if materials are improperly addressed and/or undeliverable for any other reasons, the delivery will be returned to sender. Top
      
22. What is the turn around time for returned material?   
  Generally between 24 - 72 hours from the time the undeliverable shipment entered the ICS network. Top
      
23. Can we change our Billing Terms?   
  ICS' standard billing cycle is 15 days to all our customers. Top
      
24. Can I send my shipments outside of Canada?   
  Yes. ICS offers an international service where customers can send their shipments to over 220 countries around the world at very competitive prices. With ICS WorldwideTM, you can send to any business or residence with no cross industry restrictions.
